Hello my little 2nd grade chickadees! I miss you! I would love to be with you exploring PowerPoint (presentation graphics programs) in the classroom this quarter! Instead, I will be posting some fun activities. Come back next week for another fun activity. But remember, no grades in Specials during remote learning! Just use these activities for a break and have some fun! Know that I think of each of you. You are in my prayers and I hope to see you all again soon! Let me know what you are doing and how you like all this computer learning stuff!

You may want to finish the pixel drawing we started. Here is the link for the picture grid online:
You can find the solution and other pictures on this site (click on desired picture to get the grid):
Maybe a parent or sibling can choose the picture so you don’t know what it looks like! While you are having fun creating a picture realize you are being a computer! You are following commands (the math problems) to color pixels to create a picture. You are now COMPUTER CHICKADEES!
Next year you will begin keyboarding—learning to type fast on a keyboard. There is a right way! If you want to get a head start on next year, click on the link at the top of the page and you will open a free typing program. Pay attention to the instructions so you learn to keyboard/type correctly!
