Dear Cardinal Families,
It is a true honor and a blessing to be a part of this incredible community. I feel extremely blessed to continue my journey as the principal of St. Matthew Catholic School.
I truly believe that God has a plan for each of us, and I have seen His plan for me unfold in so many beautiful ways. When my daughter started attending St. Matthew, I was immediately drawn in by the deep sense of community, the supportive parish, and the strong academics. I knew in my heart that I wanted to be a part of this special school, and I am so grateful and humbled to be able to not only join this community, but serve as your principal.
My life is centered around my faith, my family, and my passion for education. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a wife, a mother of two wonderful children, and an educator with 23 years of experience, 15 of which have been in Catholic schools. I believe with all my heart that St. Matthew Catholic School is a place where students can truly flourish in both their faith and their learning.
I am blessed to work alongside all of our students, parents, and teachers to continue making this school a place where our children can thrive. While there may be changes within St. Matthew with academics, clubs, etc., it will always be a place centered on faith, strong academics, a wide range of extracurriculars, and a truly loving community.
My first priority is our teachers. They are the heart and soul of this school, and their dedication and commitment to our students make St. Matthew the special place it is. I am so grateful for them. I am also here for our students. I want every single one of them to know that I believe in them and that I am here to support them on their academic and faith journeys. I look forward to getting to know each of them better this year and witness all the amazing things they will accomplish!
Go Cardinals, and may God continue to bless our St. Matthew community.
Sincerely,
April Hallfrisch
