Each year during October, we hold our annual “Spirit Week” drive. Students actively participate in raising money to benefit our school: they enjoy themed dress-up days, play games, win fantastic prizes, and race in a Fun Run. Typically, we choose a theme to inspire the kids and encourage them to seek support for targeted projects at St. Matthew. Spirit Week is launched at a Pep Rally when a winning shirt design is revealed and the kids learn a new song to celebrate our chosen theme for the year.
In appreciation for everyone's hard work, our PTC and parent volunteers plan a wonderful Fall Carnival at the end of October.
Each year, St. Matthew Catholic School offers a fun and exciting way for the community to come together in support of Catholic education. The school’s Annual Gala is a highly anticipated event which unites faculty, staff, parents and a multitude of volunteers in one common cause. Our goal is to create a fun night of dinner and entertainment for school parents, parishioners, and benefactors. We join together each year to celebrate the amazing things that God has done for this school and to help raise the necessary funds to provide us with the ability to offer enhancements to our curriculum, plan community building events, provide improvements to our playgrounds and equipment, and contribute to the little “extras” that make our school so special. We hope that you will plan on joining us this year!
