Mr. Boehme was born and raised in San Antonio. He is a product of Catholic Schools, having attended St. Gregory the Great from kindergarten through eighth grade, Antonian College Preparatory High School, and St. Mary’s University where he earned a B.A. in Sociology. He later earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Walden University. In 1998 Mr. Boehme began his teaching career in Southside ISD. He taught third graders at Losoya Intermediate and Heritage Elementary for sixteen years before transferring to Judson ISD. There he was an RTI specialist and 5th grade Science and Math teacher at Spring Meadows Elementary. In 2018 he joined the faculty at St. Matthew as the 4th grade Social Studies and Science teacher. He now teaches Religion as well. Mr. Boehme has been married to his wife Elaine for 18 years during which God has blessed them with five children, ages 8 - 16. In his free time Mr. Boehme enjoys reading, gardening, listening to music, and playing the guitar. He is thankful to God for the opportunity to share his faith and experience with the St. Matthew community.
