My name is Mr. Carlos E. Garza better known as “Coach.”  I’ve been at St. Matthew for over 9 yrs. where I have served as teacher, coach and safety coordinator.  With a Bachelors in Education and a Masters in Leadership from Texas A&M University – Kingsville, I have been committed to providing quality educational experiences and opportunities for all students for more than 25 years.   
In my personal life, I am blessed to be married to my beautiful wife Melissa and have four healthy children; Cristian, Cian, Cai, and Coralie; all of which have attended St. Matthew. 
Currently, I coach basketball, baseball and teach middle school physical education.  It’s been a career and life changing experience, and I pray that God continues to guide and bless me for many more years.
