Mrs. Pirro was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas where she was part of the founding families of St. Matthew Catholic Church. She learned the guitar under the tutelage of Sr. Therese and continues to play in the children’s choir for school liturgies.
Mrs. Pirro graduated from the University of Texas where she received her Bachelor degree in Anthropology and a minor in Spanish. She completed an internship at the University of Texas Anthropological Laboratory radio carbon dating human bones from Eastern Africa. She also attended the University of Mexico in Mexico City. Mrs. Pirro received her Reading Specialist Certificate from the University of Colorado and has been teaching elementary and middle school for 29 years.
