Mrs. Saenz was born and raised in Texas and grew up in Pflugerville, which is just north of Austin. She graduated from Pflugerville HS in 2003. She had the privilege of working for Pflugerville ISD as a PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities) Instructional Assistant. While working, she attended Texas State University and completed her student teaching in Pre-K, Kinder, and 3rd grade. She received her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and moved to San Antonio. When settled, she worked for NEISD at Churchill High School as a Special Education Assistant. Mrs. Saenz had the privilege of working with many different students with many different disabilities and needs. Although her job was quite challenging, it was also very rewarding. God had bigger plans for her and was calling her to return to teaching young children. This will be Mrs. Saenz’ 8th year at St. Matthew. Mrs. Saenz has been married for 10 years and has 3 children. Natalia, 4th grade. Giselle, 3rd grade, and Alexander, who will be 4 years old in September. The Saenz family attends Holy Trinity Catholic Church where Mr. Saenz is a Knight of Columbus and Mrs. Saenz serves as an Eucharistic Minister. They are also part of the ACTS and Christ Centered Marriage Community. She enjoys exercising, spending time with family, and football (Go Cowboys and Hook ‘Em!)!
