Ms. Stutz was born and raised in Chile. She also spent 5 years in Brazil during some of her middle and high school years. She moved to the U.S.A. in 1998, after graduating with a Bachelor degree in Marine Science from Universidad Católica del Norte and getting married.
Since, she has lived in Indiana, Washington, Virginia, and arrived in Texas in 2014.
Ms. Stutz has taught Spanish since 1998 in public and private schools. She joined St. Matthew Catholic School in 2018 as the Middle School Spanish teacher. She has also taught religion to 7th and 6th grades and she teaches the elective Exploring the Ocean to 7th and 8th grades. She enjoys teaching her students all about the culture of the Spanish speaking countries and the mysteries of the ocean.
Ms. Stutz is a mom to 2 wonderful children. Alejandra, currently attends UTSA and Lucas attends Antonian College Prep. When she is not at or driving to a soccer game, she enjoys the outdoors, jogging, gardening, cooking and learning about all different things while traveling.
